Day Camp is a cage-free service designed for social dogs to play and have fun. Day Camp provides an outlet to expend excess energy, socialize and remain active. At Day Camp, there is never a dull moment and our schedule is packed with fun and activities.
Our trained staff members get to know each guest individually in order to keep them safe and engaged with their peers, using time-outs and treats when needed. Add some Spa treatments and make your best friends day extra special. Our staff provides tender, loving care while keeping the peace.
Guests play in a cage-free environment where they can enjoy the freedom to stretch their legs. At Paws Chateau™ dogs socialize and unwind in a controlled and fully supervised, safe setting. This exercise helps curb behavior problems, separation anxiety, and boredom issues. All activities are monitored with safety in mind by our expert staff.
Due to size and temperament restrictions, Paws Chateau offers both Big Dog Day Camp and Small Dog Day Camp.

Visit our Rates page for a list of services and fees.
Reservations
Day Camp is limited in size; therefore clients are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment. We do fill up for daycamp some days, especially during the summer and over major holidays. If you don’t have a daycare reservation, it is first come, first serve. Priority goes to clients with standing reservations.
Overnight guests wishing to attend Day Camp must be “accepted” prior to first day of stay. We request 24-hour notification for cancellations in order to properly staff a safe play environment.
Note: A complete temperament assessment is required prior to attending Day Camp.
Day Camp Alternative
Day Camp Alternative is designed for dogs that need on-site care and attention during business hours. Unlike Day Camp, Day Camp Alternative guests do not interact with other pets during the day – making it a great alternative for dogs that are shy or aggressive with others. A Day Camp Alternative stay is only $40.
Important Notes and Exclusions
Please Note: Paws Chateau reserves the right to refuse admittance to any guest for any reason, at any time, who lacks proof of vaccinations, displays signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions, demonstrates aggressive behavior, or who fails our standard health requirements.
Please Note: Safety is our primary goal, therefore, Day Camp is not for every dog. Day camp is a place for social dogs to come play and have fun. It is not a place for aggressive dogs to learn how to be social. Paws Chateau offers a Day Camp Alternative for dogs who are not social or who need special attention during the work day.
We regret that for insurance/safety precautions, we cannot admit the following breeds (or mixes) into Camp: Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Presa Canerios, American Staffordshire Terriers, Akitas, Chow Chows and Rottweilers.
In addition, while not restricted, certain breeds (prey drive, herding, etc.) typically do not do well in the Day Camp setting such as: Boxers, Greyhounds and German Shepherds.
